💬 Here's one of those idle things (IOW, no consequence at all) I watch about Saban

This picture was posted yesterday. What's the first thing that comes to your mind? Are you looking at who is there? Perhaps, wondering who some of the people are?

What comes to mind when you look at this picture? Odds are there are a lot looking at the guy on the left and wondering "who is that guy?"

You know when Goff visited he met Saban. It's as much of a given as there can be. You know there's a very good chance both Greg and his wife have been welcomed by both Saban's.

I'm guessing some have wondered why isn't he (CNS) at the press conference. He wasn't at Grant's either. It's obvious, but it still dawned on me how much he'd, literally, take over a press conference (attention) by merely being there.

In the second one ... and I do realize this is my demented way of looking at things, I saw this and started counting rings. Eight national titles there alone. But, notice who isn't wearing a name tag considering where two of those guys are? I can understand Shannon wearing one ... lineman, and all.

I noticed he wasn't in that picture yesterday and figured he had a previous engagement, but it does make sense that he would probably over shadow things. I have no doubt he met Coach before taking the job and probably after.

I know Coach Saban commands respect for his coaching ability, but I do wish people could treat him as a normal human being and allow him to live a life where he can be a part of the Alabama family without being harassed everywhere he goes.

First thing I noticed the other day was that Saban was MIA from the photo with the other coaches. Interesting thought on why, figured he was at a satellite camp or something :shock:

There's a video floating around (I'll post if I can find it) of Goff's first day. One of the first clips is Saban meeting and welcoming Goff.

(Been watching camps vs commits and satellite camps vs commits a bit this summer. :smh: )
