šŸˆ Here is a ridiculous projection for the preseason AP Poll

I guess Tennessee will be the new Auburn. Although I said it all year, Tennessee was the best three quarter team in America, just couldn't finish. Unfortunately for them finishing is the most important part.

Tennessee has the potential to be in the top 10 at year end. #4??? meh...
LSU has QB problems that haven't magically evaporated. they should be ranked no higher than #12
Florida, Arkansas and UGA should all be listed in the top 15 IMO. Florida is good QB play away from being top 10. Arkansas improved in the 2nd half of the season and is slowly becoming a different animal than years past. UGA will improve on defense and i think that will have an effect on O-LIne play. If they stick with their best QB they're going to be good.

florida state will slide.

michigan should be ranked higher.

I like when the preseason over inflates UT and the Barn's already perpetually distorted expectations. It makes their tears all the more sweet when reality crashes down around them.

I wish the Barn was top 5 as well. They always seem the most dangerous when they're on the verge of accepting their rightful place in the middle of the pack.

Give Fournette the Heisman, now. I've never seen a team so highly rated due to the mere presence of a single player. It completely ignores losing two very good OTs to the NFL and the return of a QB that has not produced on a team almost guaranteed to see the continuance of a one dimensional offensive scheme

I do wish UA was 17th though. I like foreshadowing.

Yep, there it is.... Let's see what happens after the signing day events and spring practice.
I'll give a slightly more caring look at those rankings. But, these "way too early" rankings are just something to fill the off season...
Roll Tide everyone!!!

I feel as if Arkansas missed their chance since they will be without Brandon Allen, Hunter Henry, Alex Collins, and Johnathan Williams if I'm not mistaken. That's a lot of their offensive firepower gone.

I think LSU will be better next year. They have no shortage of skill players, and I think Les will put it together and win 10.

Georgia is always a question mark. I think Kirby will get it done recruiting, but their offense was poor after Chubb left and they need a quarterback. Eason will go through some growing pains, but I still think they can win 8-9, very well could be a lot like Florida was this year.

You'd think Alabama would receive some credit due to the fact that the past year showed that Alabama can in fact reload at some of the most important positions. But oh well, I love when Alabama is the underdog

Did you watch the video...dude has LSU #1. Even the most corndog colored glass wearing swamp-o-phile fan doesn't believe that. His reason, well they have LF and that OLine coming back. While that may be true, didn't that one sided attack plan get exposed by a couple of teams this past year?

Tennessee will lose four next season.

Have you seen their schedule... what 4 teams do you expect they lose to?

They have a very easy schedule next year with a lot of their talent returning. Let's keep in mind, we didn't "destroy" them this year either. I think they'll have a chance to compete in the East for sure and I don't think they'll be a push over for us either. I actually think it will be one of our hardest matchups next year.

They lose their 2 starting OTs. But I guess they're not important for the OL

Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and they will drop one (or both) that they should win (Virginia Tech or A&M).

I agree on UT possibly being out toughest matchup next hear. It's in Knoxville, too. Heck, they were very close to beating us at home this year. Had us down and it took 3 very good catches from our WR's to put together a scoring drive in the final minutes. One of our top 3 toughest games of the year. That QB has gives us a few fits the past 2 years, don't really see that changing.
