I know a lot of ppl dont like me on here anymore
but I got a chance to cover R.E. Lee-Enterprise last night and Henry Ruggs (4-star receiver and someone Alabama is going hard after) absolutely showed out. Even tho he didn't catch a single pass.
They were already on their backup QB (starter got hurt last week) and the backup got knocked out at the beginning of the third quarter. Ruggs got put in at QB and shit went crazy. He pretty much turned it into backyard football and just started running all over the place. DB's had ZERO chance because there is no way you can stay with a receiver that long while a QB runs all over the place. He ended up with over 300 yards of offense (all in the second half) with almost 200 rushing and four touchdowns. He had a 76 yard touchdown run and another 60 yarder that got called back for a flag. The kid is unbelievable as a pure athlete.
I asked Enterprise's coach after the game about him and what happened and he said the worst thing they did was hurting their QB because they ended up putting their best athlete at QB and it completely changed the game. I dont think I've ever seen one kid take over a game like that, at least in person.
Really hope Bama lands this kid, he could be something else.
