🏈 Help me out about the seating at the Georgia Dome?

I know it hold 71,228 seats, does this also include the box seats? I just read that each school will be getting 13,000 tickets, and that both schools have sold out? Now does this include the band seating too, in the 13,000?
But this leaves 45,228 seats that go to the who care what team is playing each other? Help a guy out and no I'm will not be going.

The 13000 is the allotment what each school is responsible to sell. This is divided up among Tide Pride, lettermen and maybe the band.

Remember that bowl games were created as money makers for the cities. Hotels, restaurants, retail and the city/state (tax revenue) all benefit. The big portion of the seats will go to local dignitaries but also be used to generate more money.

To amend my earlier statement in agreement with you....

A good portion of the remaining 40-thousand-some-odd tickets will go to ticket brokers like StubHub to sell at a higher clip to general public on a first come basis.

I wonder if travel agents will buy tickets to include in travel packages sold to fans? It wouldn't make sense down here since it's just a 3 hour drive. But in Washington State? A travel agent could make some mucho dineros doing just that.

Stub Hub seemed to have a lot available when we bought ours. Prices were rising quickly. We were dumb and waited a day and ended paying about $40 more a piece.
