🏈 heisman speech

That family has been through a lot. To be standing there, on the top of his world inspite of it all, there is little doubt that it is overwhelming.

I thought of his father and what he was feeling. With every reason to feel down on himself, to have the world see he did not fail in his role as a father must be beyond words. For just a moment, the sports world was held and made to listen to this fact.

In this day and age, in light of the Blind Side success, I can't help but believe that a movie will come out of this. (Oh Lord. Another Hollywood credit for Nick Saban.)

I must admit right before the announcement i turned away from the .t.v.
with clicker in hand. i didnt want to see no more after watching the awards shows previously. That couldnt have happened to a better person and player than Mark
And the ''man'' yep CNS was misty eyed himself.
I believe the ''curse'' is brought on by the player and the attention they get before their bowl games.

I dont see that happening with Mark or this team.
Bring on ''the horns'' we are not ''FINISHED'' yet.:a:

Well now there are those making fun of him because he cried. I explained to my brother-in-law (Gaytor Grad), that crying because you are a loser and crying because you are a winner are two different things. Congrats to Mark for his hard work and all that he has had to endure off the field!

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it gaytors and barners.

I have been in Tebows situation, not to the extreme but it was the state semis...I was a senior, last game. I cried but the difference was that I waited till I was in locker room and no tv etc..small town football. Nothing wrong with him crying. He worked his arse off to get where he was and it hurts to lose that way. Shame on the media for showing that much of it.

True, I guess if he would have done it in the locker room or at home it would have been different.

I usually don't watch the Heisman award presentation because of obvious reasons. But those of you that have. Have you ever seen anyone that emotional when they got it?

It was touching..
