Me too Mike! So I did something last night I don't do, I been printing out the betting game the last couple of year to look at. I put bet on some game last night! The last few weeks I have been going down and not up!

A few have had issues with that, sporadically. Start a convo in the PM system and we'll see if we can track your's down.

FWIW, there's a good chance there are wagers out with the leaders. I know @alabamajack has some out. I do in futures so the board isn't totally accurate. Best time to check is Sunday mornings.

Is there a tutorial for how to bet? If I bet 40,000 and win 20,000 do I get my $40,000 back? I accidentally bet 40,000 for duke and couldn't find a way to cancel the bet, so I placed a counter bet for NC for the same amount. It didn't work out. I lost $40,000 on duke and made $24000 on NC when I just wanted to cancel my bet. How do you correct mistakes?

I'm not sure what you mean when asking about a tutorial.

If you were to bet 40K and win 20K your total payout would be 60K. If you'll look back at notifications that are sent when games are settled you'll see something along the lines of this (my wager on Stanford this weekend.) FWIW, that's -110 or 10/11 depending on how you want to do the math.

How do you correct mistakes?

While this game is virtual and there are things I can do "behind the scenes" on corrections (made a few of those settling games of the years) it's also set up to be as close to a book as possible. In other words, if you walked up to the window and bet on the wrong team you can't go back to the window and say, "I made a mistake."

Believe you me, I've done it more times than I can count...the biggest one that's hit me is betting $220,000 when I just meant to put up $22,000.

If I were to suggest one thing it's this. Always pay attention to the odds and look for value. As an example, this past weekend you could have picked Alabama to win, straight up. (money line was -12500.) Easy win, sure. But look at the payout. A 1 million dollar wager paid 8K. So, he got his 1MM back with another 8K.
