šŸˆ Hawgs/Tide....

Wilson is an unknown against Bama. Not knowing, regardless of what it is, always scary. That said, if you have to face a talent like Wilson, I like what we have in place to counter it. We knew that we could get to Mallet, so no fear.

To be perfectly honest, in a conference where everyone in really good, Talented Depth is all too often the key to a win. In that I have to give Bama the edge too.

Well... Unless we were truly looking past Troy to Bama... and gameplanning bama the past few weeks... I dont like the Hawgs chances....

I just can only hope we truly were in the position above...:moon:

Part of that I can buy, part doesn't ring true.

Looking past Troy at this upcoming weekend? In terms of concentration I could see that. It tends to lead to turnovers—UArk had three—as well as stupid penalties which you didn't have any glaring mistakes there.

Game-planning for Bama? I can't say I buy that. What's to plan for? We don't run a complicated scheme, at all, on offense. And, the majority of game-planning running through our schedules has to do with some of the intricate wrinkles in some of the offenses we'll face.

You can't really plan for the defense. Study film, yes. But, that's still only a small indicator on where the Tide defense is going to be coming from.

A few months ago I mentioned if UArk allowed Bama 250 yards in the air it would be ugly. Granted, we aren't going to attempt 60+ passes like Troy...but, if you allowed them 370+ through the air?!?

IF I were you I'd watch Richardson's and Lacy's rushing numbers. If either of those guys get over 100 yards the game is practically over. We're something like 27-1 under Saban when we have a back eclipse the century mark.

Here is another point to note: Alabama has scored at least 17 first-half points in seven straight games.

Short of breaking this trend, which included LSU, Auburn, Co-Big10 Champ Michigan State by the way, you had better come out on fire offensively because playing catch up after Saban gets half-time adjustments with this bunch will tough.
