There are 3 games that I am really "worried" about this year: LSU coming to Bryant-Denny, @ Florida, and Arkansas. I am starting to feel a little bit more comfortable with the game against Arkansas because I think that our DB's match up well with Arkansas' strength, their passing attack. Having said that, there are two things that worry me about playing ya'll. First of all, our pass rush, which has gotten a little bit better than in passed years. and with your "new" guys on the OL I feel that this area might not be as big of an issue as I originally thought. My 2nd concern, and probably the biggest concern is that I feel like Arkansas fans and players see this as a rivalry game, and gets a whole lot more pumped up about this game than do the Alabama players and fans. Not saying that as a slight towards the hogs, but we already have Auburn and the Vols as our two big rivals.
I say this for a couple of reasons, but specifically last season ya'll came in to that game with a lot more energy than our players did. And lets be honest, these are college kids, and energy and momentum can change the outcome of a game in a split second.
Also, I do business with a good bit of people from Arkansas, who are Hogs fans, and I have heard the same phrase from every single one of them that I talk to..."man, that sure is becoming a big rivalry, isn't it!"
With this being said, I think it's going to be a good, physical, close game, with Alabama's ability to stop the run and pin their ears back on the pass rush that will be the difference in the game.
