Ok, we all know that both of us have games this week that are rentawins.... Right?

So, lets get the party started early.

What say you.... Let's play the game a little different this time... Is there anything about the Hawgs that scares you just a bit....

I will start...

About Bama.. The D always will be tough, and i think the Passing D will be a great foe for our woefully underdeveloped passing game...

i think you guys have a better QB in wilson than you had in mallett. i also believe your coaches are sitting on a LOT of the playbook and saving firepower for Alabama. The running game is where you guys are going to get stuck against the Tide. if you had a better running game, i think the contest could be close, but your piggies will likely be one-dimensional with the run getting shut down and leaning on the pass with a new QB and an Oline that will be untested coming in. before your RB got hurt i thought the game could be a toss-up. when he went down, i called it a 13 point Bama win.

Bama 23
Piggies 10

well.... Not exactly what i had in mind... as in... What scares you a bit about us... but... I will play along.

Our D will surprise you folks this year.... to be honest, it has surprised me... I never thought Bobby P would have a D this stout.

I agree with you folks on our running game, with one caveat.... Dennis Johnson is BACK!!!!.... and he had Knile Davis numbers prior to knile in some ways... until he was hurt, he was our running game. But, our Oline is a major cause of concern...

Special teams, is very special... but not in the Houston Nutt sort of way!

hmmmmm.... I see a closer game than you folks do... I see this as the toughest game you have had so far for sure...

I think it will be a defense oriented game. If you can stop our running game without putting 8 in the box you have a good chance to win. If you don't we will get some big plays in the passing game. We are not going to stop that great group of receivers that you have entirely, and considering our aggressive style on defense you may hit a big play or so (though not like last year when our blown assignments created a couple of big plays for you). I think we try to keep Wislon in the pocket. Am I correct that he could have gone back in last week if he had been needed?

I haven't started looking at this game in depth, but my gut feeling is that it will be close most of the way, but we pull away in the 4th. Are the Piggies in pretty good health?

Wilson had "Concussion like symptoms" midway through last weeks game... Baguette has a hammy problem, resting.... All else is systems go... And i have no idea about the "Piggies" but the Razorbacks are good to go!

First, I am excited about this game because I think it represents our biggest challenge on our schedule until we meet LSU in November. There certainly is a lot of football to be played between those two games but that's just how I see it playing out. This Arkansas team is for real.

Your defense may catch some fans off guard but it won't catch our coaches/players off guard. With that, you may have the best WR corp in the country and that plays into the strength of our defense as we may have the best secondary in the country. It will be interesting to see who wins that battle.

A couple of things, we have both played rather light schedules coming into your game but we did play a very good PSU defense on their home field. We will be facing a better Arkansas defense in our house. This will also be your first road trip against SEC level, top-tier talent with a very vocal 103k+ fans yelling while you have the ball. How Wilson handles the hostile environment will be interesting.

Nothing about your team scares me because I think we are that solid. Bring it! Alabama may be one of the few teams that the opposing team needs our help to beat itself like the 5 TO's against a hapless Kent St squad. That would scare me the most.

Very Good Synopsis.... and, I appreciate the respect... It will be a tough row to hoe for my Beloved Hawg for sure... But.... Looking forward to the game, wish I could be there!

Agreed. And it's really going to be tough to play that one and then travel to the Swamp the next week to play the Gators. Arkansas-Alabama is always a tough, ultra-physical game for both teams to endure.

thanks... I love NS as a coach... Dang the dude is for real.. And I believe BP is too, but you have a much easier road to the talent for recruiting... Looking forward to the game!@
