🏈 Hawg has a few T-Town tailgating questions for ya'll

Looking forward to the game. I'll be heading to Tuscaloosa Friday morning from my present day home in North Carolina. This is my second trip to Tuscaloosa and hoping to see a better game than what I witnessed in 09.

Got a few tailgating questions for y'all if you don't mind helping out an Arky. In 09 I tailgated at an on campus "open car parking" location at the corner of University Boulevard and 6th, not too far off 82. It was decent but not a lot of people were actually tailgating but rather using the spot just for parking. I'm looking for a place this year where I can either pay for two parking spots or one that has room for a 9x9 canopy and my truck. Any suggestions?

The game day maps online show my best bets are either 1) where I was at in 09 (though not sure I can get two spots) or "off campus" parking. Off campus parking is showing Boy Scout Parking lot and Central High School (15th street) or DCH lot (Paul Bryant Drive).

Should I shoot for off campus and will they have room or let me buy two spaces? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Again, looking forward to the game. I had a great time the last time I was there, other than the final scoreboard. If you see a Razorback flag flying in the sky, 20' high, then that's probably me. Come on by and say hello. I'll keep the beer cold for y'all. Go Hawgs!!!

11 hours and no replies? Man, I guess free beer wasn't enough of an enticement . Tell you what. I'll be bringing some hard liquor with me and I just bought a battery powered Margaritaville Concoction maker. Margaritas?

Just looking for advice on a place to tailgate where I can either purchase two spots (one for canopy and one for truck) or a place that allows for extra room for tailgating.

Thanks y'all.

If you get there early enough, I'd try any of the numerous parking spots between Coleman Coliseum and Bryant Denny on Bryant Drive. That's a hot spot to tailgate, other than the quad. Here's hoping for a safe trip and a good time, but not too good.

Central High school is an ok spot, but there is not a lot of action. For tailgating you want to be as close to the quad as possible. The closer to the Quad you get the more action you have as far as tailgating. More traffic/banter/etc.
