Kentucky's hot start to the 2018 season has put its players and coach among the favorites for the Southeastern Conference's postseason awards.
But when was the last time a Wildcats coach or player won one of those awards?
Well, it's been more than a decade for SEC Player of the Year. And more than 30 years for an SEC Coach of the Year.
Artose Pinner won SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2002 while Tim Couch won SEC Player of the Year in 1998. Jerry Claiborne is the latest UK coach to win SEC Coach of the Year in 1983, which was a tie.
In 2018, Wildcats coach Mark Stoops has a good shot at winning SEC Coach of the Year if the Wildcats finish the season strong. Kentucky was picked preseason to finish fifth in the SEC East.
Running back Benny Snell, who has rushed for 639 yards and eight touchdowns in five games, is in the conversation for both SEC Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year.
Linebacker Josh Allen is among the favorites for SEC Defensive Player of the Year. He has 33 tackles (10.5 for loss), six sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass deflections in 2018.
