🏈 Has any UTAH fan actually watched a Bama Game.

Just messing with you man. Relax.

Yeah, guess I'm a little defensive today. There's been a lot of sniping back and forth on the Utah board (some of it rather nasty). Just wanted to make sure I wasn't coming across as a myopic Ute homer. :)

I haven't seen anyone I would call "myopic" for the Utah fan base. I've seen confidence, some bordering on over confidence, and there isn't anything wrong with the feeling.

The contention has been what the confidence is based on...as, I expected when I started looking at possible bowl match-ups before we even faced Florida in the SECCG.

A lot in this thread could have been worded differently...oh well, such is the message board genre' with football conversations.

I was really just trying to point out how many ppl have to leave the game due to minor injuries. Most end up coming back after the stars stop circling. But by no means did I want players to get hurt. This is going to be Utah's most physical game they will play this year. Injuries do happen, its a tough sport. Especially when the man your up against is 70-80 lbs heavier with just as much athleticism. And I am very curious to see what happens when yall stack the box. Can we still run through your 8man front? or will you hafta prove your 2ndary is as good as you guys sell them to be.

But best of Luck Utes! and Merry Christmas!

I could list a ton of kids that got banged up in our games this year.

But, changing the subject every so slightly, has there been a single player we've faced that ended up with a season ending injury after out game? I can't recall one off the top of my head...

Anyone?

Nope cannot think of one season ending injury. Speaking of that, did anyone see the USM player(the big freshmen wr #5) break his ankle. It brought back flashes of Pro's injury. Hope it is not as serious.

let's call it what it is, guys.

It's MORMONS vs. BAPTISTS!!!

zucchini casserole vs. green bean casserole

homemade dresses vs. ankle length jean skirts

tabernacle choir vs. black gospel

Joseph Smith vs. Billy Graham

cold decaf java chillers vs. hot coffee

jk... i hope no one takes offense.

One of the Utah guys , in another thread, wondered how we could dominate them for four quarters when we had serious letdowns in the second half. I tried to explain that the problem was remedied by the coaching staff in the first half of the season, but if that's any indication of how closely they've "scouted" us, they may be in for a surprise. :santa ^^CO

At any rate, it's all in good fun. Merry Christmas to all!!

I guarantee that the person who "wondered how we could dominate them for four quarters when we had serious letdowns in the second half" does not have a clue as to how the coaches think.

The Utah coaches know one thing, Alabama is a terrific team and it will take an unbelievable Ute effort to beat them. Utah has an excellent coaching staff and they know how to win. Does it mean the Utes will beat you...No...does it mean you will win...no.

This is going to be a competitive game whether any of you believe it or not.

Go Utes!!!
