Anyone eating something other than the traditionals tomorrow?
Ms50+ been cooking for 3 days. More dang food than a family needs. Hopefully everyone shows up in good mood. Eats lots of goes home early. We leave 9 am Friday for ttown

But all traditional. I remember my dad bbq ribs one year. Everyone hated it. Not the food. The lack of traditional.

Went to Hawaii when we played over in 2003 i think. Kids were on their own. We threaten them with it every year!!!!!

Happy thanksgiving my friend. Roll tide

I get this. But, I just don't have an appetite for turkey right now. I haven't for a few months (Jersey's Mike's Turkey sandwich being one of my ONLY fast food go-to's.) A decision made a bit ago, right?

Had a friend ask me last week, "you buy a turkey yet?" I told him...but, he had this Publix special he wanted me to know about. I'll be damned if he didn't show up and give me a 22lb turkey the other day. I feed two. What the hell am I going to do with 22 lbs of turkey?

Menu tomorrow: Rib-eyes, asparagus, and a scalloped potato baked kind of thing...haven't put it together in my head yet...it'll be topped with cheddar and I'm thinking broccoli shavings.

You too! Be safe...enjoy the game!

We do a regular turkey, and reheat a smoked turkey from Sam's. It's always been good.

Off thread, but my goodness, if you ever pass the eastern Heflin exit (second exit heading west into Alabama as the highway goes from six lanes to four) there's the old truck stop across from the new Love's. They do chicken awesome and cheap, but I have to get a small box of fried gizzards if I go through any time near lunch.
