Verne Lundquist (then of ABC) interviews Coach Bryant at the beginning of the 2nd half of the 1981 Alabama vs. Auburn football game. Coach Bryant went on to earn his 315th career victory that day which surpassed Amos Alonzo Stagg as the winningest college football coach in history.

My brother-in-law and I got tickets to #315 at the walk up to Legion Field. Regular price around the 30-yard line from an older auburn couple as I recall. Talk about hitting the lotto. Those were the days.
