The train that is the economic impact of this pandemic is heading right at us. This is not to minimize the virus for those that have had complications and even died. It is however a part of the story that you can't deny. Example, the airline industry did not shutdown because the government subsidized to keeping them going even with just a few customers. When that subsidy stops in the fall as with many other businesses the crap is going to hit the fan.

Agreed. I'm far from an economist, but I see a lot of reasons for (financial) pessimism as we navigate this disaster.
