💬 Good, Bad, and Ugly: What are your memories from the Georgia Dome?

Ugly. Was it the 3rd qtr in 2008 when one of our linebackers got flagged for a penalty extending Florida's drive? I see the play, but can't put the names together.

Bad. I had a degree of respect for Hernadez.

Good. Clemson.

The play I think you r thinking of....the fourth quarter late....Hightower grabs Tebows mask and gives the first down...would have been 4th n shorth...Bama in lead at ime

I'm going with the good here. Here's my top five.

2008 season opener against Clemson. Looking back we see it as a breakout game. We knew that to be true against Georgia later on in the year. Thunder and Lightning ... ha.

2008 SECCG: Yeah, a good and a loss. I knew at the end of that game the team had learned to finish. There wasn't any quit there. I'd known Greg for a few years then and was really looking forward to the 2009 season.

2009 SECCG: May I point you to the news December 26th and 2th of the same year.

2012 SECCG: Look. Seeing Bama beat Georgia is an all time favorite any year. Any year. But...Quinton Dial on Aaron Murray...the way the broadcast crew cried about that hit. :rolf: This is one that's special because of the game that followed against Notre Dame.

1999 SECCG: I was ready for DuBose to go before the season started. (I was ready for him to go the day he given the position, but I digress.) Two reasons here. One, it's always fun to tell a Spurrier fan even DuBose beat him twice in a year. Bottom line there's a few players from that year that earned a lot of respect. And, I loved SA behind CS.

Didn't realize that.

OK,just watched some of that vid. Gets to the point where the camera is looking up at the cheer leader and you see the sky. I'm not used to seeing pics from that game when reliving the memories of pics gazing into the sky. It is usually showing the crowd sitting there in solemn silence.

Good-
No college football team has enjoyed as much success at the Georgia Dome as the
Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama won 10 of its last 11 games at the Georgia Dome,
including five SEC Championship games, four Chick-fil-A Kickoff games and the Chick-
fil-A Peach Bowl that earned it a national championship berth in 2017. In total,
Alabama won six conference titles in Atlanta.

Bad-
Losing one game in the Dome. LOL

Ugly-
Losing our home away from home advantage!
