Meyer said today that Nick Bosa had surgery for a core muscle injury and there's no timetable for his return. Penn State is next week, isn't it?

They got depth but that's a big blow to the line.

I'm a little curious. When you guys look at these five teams how many of them do you see with a realistic chance of winning the NC? I'm not talking about simply making the playoffs.

Fully realizing we're only three weeks in, when I consider OU I can see them winning one game in the playoff. But two? If Iowa State can put up 450 yards on OU's defense what would happen if they had to face Bama and UGA back to back? Two perfect games is what I believe it would take. The same thing goes for OSU--they'd have a loss if it weren't for TCU giving them two scores when they played. Could they get through Clemson and then Georgia? Clemson then Bama?

No. I'm not ready to go that far. I can definitely see these teams in the playoff, I just don't see Ohio State or Oklahoma as having the teams to win two in a row in a playoff scenario.

Clemson, UGA appear the best to me.

I don’t buy Oklahoma at all.

Ohio state’s schedule is quite favorable and they could easily win out.

Oklahoma will flop and either Oklahoma state or West Virginia get in.

Osu....tough team.....excellent QB...
Uga....absolutely...solid as can be...
Clemson...tough...challenged and answered the challenge...
Bama....floating...toughest teams at home... ( lsu may be different)...
Thats 5.....with 4 slots...
All 5 stand out abouve anyone else in their conference....

I was about to say the odds that Vegas needs to get on is who will finish the season at #2.

Could see all of them in reality. But really could see Uga, after this Saturday, I will have a better read on CU. Never really sold on Osu and Okie is always suspect but capable.
