🏈 Going to Atlanta

I recently made a post about going to the Bama at Kentucky game and I appreciate the help. anyway...

the wife and I decided to splurge and we got flights and a hotel in Atlanta for the season opener.

I'm looking for some advice on how much to pay for tickets. Stub and Ebay seem to have an average of 300-400 for 2 tickets for upper level seats, which are fine with us.

Should we avoid stubhub and ebay or are there any other options?

Also, our hotel is right near the airport. Would you guys recommend taking the MARTA from the hotel to the GA dome, for those who were at last years opener or SEC championship?

I got a pair of tickets to the opener on ebay for $320, but that was in February. I've always used ebay since you can sometimes get deal, but with it being so close to the season I think both places will probably have about the same prices.

As far as the Marta, I dunno much about that. Our hotel is a half a mile from the stadium so were walking. We were looking into a hotel near the Marta if we didn't get one close to the dome, I assume that would be your best bet.

Riding the Marta is fine. I always stay in Douglasville (west of ATL) and ride the Marta in. Do it for anything that I go to at the Dome and have always had good luck with it.

Are tickets in the VaTech sections going to miserable to sit in as a Bama fan, or is everyone pretty scattered?

Great advice on both. Marta is definetly the way to go. you get droped off right in front of stadium, east side I beleive. We tailgate in the parking lot next to Marta.
And last year, My sons and i got tickets to Bama / Clemson outside the staidum. exactly 1 minute after kickoff, $75 each.
