My biggest concern with Glenn right now are the fumbles. I think today was his third.
His third? He fumbled twice against UK, and twice today. I think he's fumbled before also. I don't think he'll be starting next week. But what do I know? I'm a truck driver.

I know Glenn's Momma probably loves her baby boy, but she has to stop making him those butter biscuts for breakfast on gameday.

Won't argue with that. I obviously missed the second one today. The bad thing is that it seems to be getting worse, not better.

He only had one today, but he did have one against UGA erased by a penalty.

I think he had two today, but one we didn't lose and wasn't very noticeable. IMO, it has now gotten in his head and that is not good.

his first was down near the goal line, but he fell on it. it wasn't very noticeable. i hate it for him, but if i were saban, i'd have serious doubts about playing him. eventually, these fumbles are going to catch up to us.

If we are talking about the same play, the "other fumble" that you guys are talking about wasn't really a fumble even though he lost the ball due to contact with the ground.

That said, considering I'm not a big fan of "the ground can't cause a fumble rule," the *non-fumble* was a lack of solid ball-control.

It's VERY important to note that way WAS NOT blocked correctly and we had two players hit Coffee. I don't like the fumble, but I can't bring myself to the point of following the "benching" train of thought when it wasn't entirely his fault. If you noticed, he had both arms on the both, held high...it was a football play by the Ole Miss defenders and a "matador" play by our OL.

Speaking of "matador," Upchurch's **attempt** at a block when JP was getting pressure in the later stages of the game ticked me off more than the fumble.

I also know on one of Coffee's longer runs, he had that ball propped up in the crook of his arm, just inviting a helmet or hand.

I didn't record the game, so I cannot be specific on when this occurred, but if you rewatch the game, keep a look out for it. Coffee comes off the left side (Bama sideline), gets some daylight, and sidesteps a couple of defenders on the run. Seeing the ball carried like that, I was holding my breath the whole time on that gallop.

I actually was surprised to see that kind of technique after what I've read about GC having to carry the ball around and how this was being addressed in practice.
