Here's a nice helping for those geniuses that loved to refer to Bo as "glass hulk" this season...

We have the Glass Hulk as the starter but other than that, it's great!

Having Henry saved our asses last year, so having a good back will certainly help, but unfortunately I don't think the glass hulk will hold up, and idk if we have any star backs behind him unless it's one of the freshmen.

This. Glass Hulk was a non-factor and every RB on the roster except Erokishima(?) played.

I'm loving that Bo's been more productive lately. Of our top three backs, he's the only one to have missed any games (2), and he's had double-digit carries in just five of the twelve he's been in. On more than one occasion, Coach Saban has said that Bo's been nicked up a bit and, although he could've returned, they held him out as a precaution. It's obvious to most people here that his carries have been managed throughout the year, and it's great he's ready for just this time of the year - that is, except those spoiling for a fight or harboring some kind of hateful grudge.

None of this was refuted but so what, right? That said...I hope he rushes for 300 yards Monday night and never gets 'nicked up' again in a long and prosperous life.

What is there to refute? He's "glass hulk" because he was "nicked up" some during the season? Most of his lack of playing time earlier in the season was simply because he wasn't comfortable with the knee yet. Regardless "Glass Hulk" just showed that hes just simply the Hulk. Im sure the next time he stubs his toe you'll be the first one to jump up and scream "GLASS HULK!" too...

I will say that last year, it was the other knee.

And he stayed nicked up quite a bit in HS.

I never really called him that, but I have questioned his ability to stay healthy for an entire season.

Anyone with eyes can see that he has had injury issues (which is what makes his comeback so sweet) but my issue has always been the ones that wanted to refer to the guy as "Glass Hulk" (meaning he looks huge but is soft or fragile) before the season even started. Then anytime he has a nick or a bruise they'll pull out the old tired "glass hulk" BS to shit on the kid who has done nothing but work his ass for for the team.

Bo is high tide at the right time. With 4 serious running backs and 2 more on the way, we have the luxury of mixing and matching with little dropoff. Now is the time to have the best power back available and in tip top shape. I think Bo was also the difference in the LSU game. Without even a few of those hard fought bullish runs against the tigers, our offense was going nowhere fast.
