His thigh is rotated lateral so that knee bend is "normal". The abnormal bend is in the ankle which is planter flexion with a bit of a medial twist/supination, but with any flexibility I doubt it was even felt.

his thigh was rotated around so that when his knee bent, it actually bent normally. the ankle is the one that is bent less than normal as his foot is bent down, not up. over extending the foot/ankle this way can cause more damage than over-extending it the other way. but since he's in damn good shape, and a running back, he's pretty flexible in that regard so it really didn't do any damage at all.
