Baseball stadium on old Fulton County Stadium baseball field footprint(currently a parking lot)...

Too bad it's in a crummy part of town, much like their campus. They'll get 5,000 fans in that stadium.

Georgia State is probably the only entity large enough to make the mixed use piece of it work, but it's a stretch. I really like putting the baseball field back on the footprint of the old Fulton County Stadium, and commemorating 715 in the wall. The football stadium rendition is nice, I hope they can fill it. what's the capacity? 40 or 50M? *edit*: I see it's just 23M, expandable to 33M.

Atlantic Station started with fanfare, went bankrupt and then got going. It's just across the interstate from me, and I've only been there a handful of few times. From a safety standpoint, I've never ventured into the parking deck, always street level parking. The thing about Atlantic Station is that the area is WAY better than south downtown. Midtown revitalization, aided by the GA Tech engine, will keep Atlantic Station afloat. I don't think it will be an Underground Atlanta albatross.
