Penn State-Iowa??? When has that game ever been for anything worth a watch? Atleast USC and Utah can be a late evening entertainment type matchup.

Seasons where it'll go a long way to determine who is representing the B1G south. Iowa's biggest games this season are against PSU and ISU: no OSU or Michigan teams on the schedule.

I understand that much, but as a national game it means zero. Means something to fans in like three states. Iowa or Penn State will not be in the Playoff hunt and both will likely have two losses when you look back historically. I'll be watching those other three games. USC for the reason that it may be a later game, last betting opportunity of the night, and USC in my mind has a good team coming back.

I hope Penn State is undefeated in nonconference games before the Iowa game.

Atleast Georgia is a Playoff contender, a real one. USC has a solid shot at the Playoffs if they can beat Oregon this year. Auburn has fallen off the last few years, but the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry used to be a big game in the national landscape of things.
