🏈 Gene Stallings on Gus Malzahn's offense: 'I know how to stop it.' (video)

Hell, I know how to stop it... Get the QB's jersey dirty, early and often, nothing slows an offense down more than a quarterback getting off the ground after every play getting more and more sore...

Put 11 men on the line and dare that defensive back turned QB into having to be the next Pat Sullivan... It won't happen...

Jump out to an early lead and force Auburn into playing catch up... they don't do that well...

Lastly, grind the swiss cheese Auburn defense into the dust with long scoring drives...

I love watching the '92 championship game when Stallings would put 9, 10, even 11 guys up on the line of scrimmage against Gino. We really brought the heat and when we didn't, we made him think it was coming. Sure, he beat us on a few plays, but not enough to break us. And Marshall is not the passer or decision maker Gino was. I'd love to see 10 men on the line a few times.
