🏈 Geez, another one of Urban's Florida boys. "Police are investigating the discovery of a body at the home of Giants CB Janoris Jenkins in NJ."

Of course, we do not have nearly all of the facts, right now looks kinda like his brother might be the culprit.
If that's the case, it's not any better, is it? The old cliche about "the company you keep" comes to mind.

I'm still a little shocked at how badly Meyer wrecked that program. It's still trying to make its way back. Sadly, there's a side of me that wouldn't mind seeing it happen to Ohio State.

Yeah! I hate Ohio State almost as much as Michigan fans do.

For me, it's never been about Ohio State; it's all about their coaches. I'm vaguely familiar with Hayes, more so with Bruce, and knew who/what Cooper was pretty well. I felt no rivalry or dislike about them, the school, or the program.

Then we have Tressell with all the love he was receiving despite the fact there were over 300 violations under his watch. Add Urban and what I already knew about him to the mix?

(The "my daughters letter to me" still turns my stomach.")

Dead body found at Janoris Jenkins’s home in Jersey

Gator fans couldn’t help but gasp at the news late Tuesday afternoon when reports surfaced that a dead body had been found at the home of New York Giants’ star CB Janoris Jenkins’s home.

In the summer of 2013, one of Jenkins’s former teammates at Florida, Aaron Hernandez, was arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd outside of Boston. In fact, Hernandez was arrested on June 26, exactly five years to the day that workers found the body of Jenkins’s 25-year-old family friend, Roosevelt Rene, at this home in Bergen County, New Jersey.

TMZ was the first to report the news. A worker reportedly found Rene at about 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network reported Tuesday night that authorities are investigating the homicide as a possible strangulation/suffocation case.

Jenkins has been in Florida since the Giants broke from mini-camp earlier this month.

ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported that on Monday night at Newark Airport, a man claiming to be Jenkins’s brother caused a Newark to Ft. Lauderdale Jet Blue flight to be delayed four hours when he caused a scene because he was too scared to fly. The individual eventually got off the plane.

Jenkins reportedly wanted to fly back to the New York area yesterday to deal with the situation, but he’s been advised by attorneys to stay in Florida, according to Russini’s sources.

Jenkins is one of the NFL’s top CBs. He signed a five-year, $62.5 million deal with the Giants in 2016. In six NFL seasons, Jenkins has started 82 of 84 games and produced 337 tackles, one sack, 16 interceptions (for 418 return yards), seven pick-sixes, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Jenkins, a Pahokee High School product, was the nation’s sixth-best CB when he signed with UF in 2008. He became only the second true freshman in school history to start at CB in the season opener, helping the Gators win their third national title in ’08.
