This article is a good read on Muschamp and what he's done at Florida around conditioning. His attitude would do lots for Texas...they should swing hard for a HC, little brother is about to start giving them a run for their money in recruiting...

Second question: Do you feel your team is the best in the country?
Answer: "Yes." Pause.
"We have the best defense in the country. We are creative in the running game. Our quarterback gives you issues. We are well-prepared in every game. And our team understands the meaning of the word 'team.' "

A W, is not a loss, but a win.

But, I can't help but looking at this Florida team and still wonder.

Sure, when you look at the teams they've beaten and the rankings of those teams it's impressive.

But, I can't escape two games as well—all in the later third of this season.

A 7 point win over Mizzou, and the win over Louisiana-Lafayette which was lucky. OK, I'll give them great special teams play to block the punt in the last seconds of the game. But still, lucky.

they're playing more as a team the last couple of years which is, imo, the improvement they've seen. they still lack personnel at important positions though.

they need skill players on offense badly and their line has been susceptible also. defensively i think they've played well this year and certainly more physical.
