💬 Gas lines are stupid around Dallas.

Look closely, the line goes towards the white buildings loops around, then to the gas station on the left. What's not seen is the line of cars on the street to the right. Probably 300 cars in line.

I passed a few more gas stations on the way home and they were crazy busy.

But the bright side, I didn't have to deal with 50"+ of rain in Houston.

$2.49 to $2.24 in TN.....
Was 1.99 last week
Why does the gas go up the day after a disaster...
And once ever thing is up n running..takes a month to go back down...
Greedy MFs at the helm....
Biggest price gouges in history....well...pharmaceutical companies r there to...

Here, it went from $2.09 to $2.35!! They shutdown the Colonial pipeline that basically runs from the Gulf and up the Eastern seaboard @50+yeartidefan. That shutdown stopped about 100 million or so gallons of gas, and diesel from flowing a day if I recall correctly. Still, it's a damn price gouge!!

They ran out of diesel in Athens, Georgia at the RaceTrac I was at yesterday, and like I sai earlier, gas went from like $2.19 to $2.75 in the Conyers, Walnut Grove, Monroe, Athens area in one day.

I did see where a million barrels of reserves were being released. Too bad the price damage has been done. Will take them two months to get back to the level they were at where it took them a day to go that high up.

Goes up (theoretically) because there could be a shortage and everyone panicking and racing to go get some before "it runs out." When they shut the pipeline in the southeast down yesterday it just made things worse. It will settle down pretty soon though IMO.
