I just have the site on my favorites list and I enjoy hearing each week's predictions. I wouldn't bet on them as I am not a betting person. But I am amused at the prediction on Bama. But after last year... Once again, I wouldn't bet on it.

The guy on Bama's I've been saying has a warm seat (because he's been disappointing) is definitely in hot seat territory this weekend. Gilberry sid something this past week that caught my attention. He liked what Freddie is doing but being a linebacker doesn't fit with the defensive lineman's "football mentality/craziness." (sic) I don't have any experience in either except for wondering the last two years if it was a fit. I haven't seen it yet.

Recruiting is another story...the draft, yet another.

So, with the shake-up in leadership along the DL we get to see the progression of a few guys. We've talked about Beaman a few times. Several weeks ago I posted a few pics showing how Steve M has changed. I've heard Simmons name a few times but haven't mentioned it in the fall camp thread.

So, let's see what they got. It's a main cog missing that is spotlighting development.

Weather Channel hourly forecast. Rain is forecast all day, thus the 80% chance at some point in the day. Highest chance at any hour during the day is 45% at 6 AM, thus the call for morning showers. At 3 PM the chance is 25%. Seems to me the largest threat would be lightning delays if they had a thunderstorm. Which is highly likely anywhere in Florida during the afternoon.

It's so wild how two people can see the same thing and see it from two different perspectives. I'm looking at a team with three injuries—with only one of those being a 'serious issue'—and think, "they're lucky to get through spring and fall without a season ending injury (as far as we know with Roberts...hope remains there.)

(I'm not trying to cast doubt or suspicions on JR's return. I'm always hesitant when I hear multiple concussions.)

Oh I am saying for the first game or two it is concerning. Also that it could have been worse.... So not sure we are seeing it differently. Just concerned the first game or two.... Still gotta see these guys go on the road and not screw it up...

I'm not concerned about that at all. They focused on that in the off season. Mentality should be same whether it's at home or on the road. the only thing I'm really interested in for tomorrow is the OL line. how often they can move up the field on consistent basis. If I see 3 and outs several times tomorrow, then I'll be concerned. I want to see the running game tomorrow.

I hear Roberts is out and I'm looking forward to seeing if Carroll gets some snaps not to mention Geno. Keenan? I've mentioned the three behind him throughout the fall: Steve M more than any likely. Still, no concern.

Jam being out? I think I've been transparent on what I think about Hill and the off-season he's had. I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

The prop I put up this morning about Bama winning by 24+ ... tempted. A nice payout for those who jump on it in the 'book.
