🏈 Game Week~ Wisconsin

I agree that's what they have to do but I hate that the team is in the position of not having a quarterback they can completely trust to make the right decision. It really hurts the team's overall success and the turnovers and conservative play calling will destroy the team's confidence. I remember seeing Coker throw after this past off season and I couldn't believe that he had not improved his release time and decision making. I hope the coaches see something I don't because I could never be comfortable sending him out there with his slow release time.

Not to be argumentative but I don't think there is any indication that the team doesn't trust any of the 3 front runners. I also think no matter which of the 3 are in the game you will see a conservative gameplan

My sources words :

Coker- High Ceiling with the possibility of many mistakes.

Bateman- Most Athletic with possibility of fewer mistakes

Morris- least athletic, lowest ceiling, best offensive knowledge, few to no mistakes

See why it's gone back and forth.

Boz, another quick QB question. Just your gut instinct. So let's assume that the Coker we've come to know(slow decisions, holds ball too long, inaccuracy etc) shows up against Wisky. It goes without saying that given we have several options behind him that fans will quickly get restless. But here's my real question. At that point will CNS just demote him to #3(or 4), and promote
the the #3 guy, or will it be a case of just hoping he miraculously improves by week two or three?

Personally, I am just so nervous about being stuck with this fifth-year QB who simply doesn't seem to have "it" and never will. They've gotta figure this thing out before we play OM.

Thanks for your input.

if he struggles the next in line will come in and honestly unless some divine miracle happens at practice with him. There will be 2 Qbs playing in the game.
