🏈 Game Time Thread The epic SECCG

Man I'm telling you....As crazy and as great as this win is, and against a very very good Georgia team....We better do something with our offense passing wise... these screen passes and crossing routes can only go so far...

lol when u figure out they cant stop u running the ball why in the world would u pass it? IMO the offense did the best job in the world tonight after the 1st qtr. They cant stop the run so run the ball 50 times. Got the job done.. Give Saban and Smart a month to study ND and there is no reason to worry

Man on man. Crazy game. I'm not sure my BP will ever normalize.

What in the hell is going on with AJ, though? He has been looking consistently worse. I'm no expert football analyst but jeez, I said out loud before the snap, "we get picked off right here, watch it".. and sure damn enough. So many times I experienced almost eerie deja vu from the A&M game and that beautifully caught 44yd pass to Cooper was definitely an example. I felt instantly that it would amount to nothing. I hope AJ can get it together before Miami because I don't want to be relegated to run, especially since they're going to preparing for an exact scenario where that's the case.

Guys, I just literally read this entire thread, all 37 pages. I was at the DC Bama bar and couldn't be here agonizing with you all on the board. But every few minutes I kept getting the urge to post!! Reading all 37 pages was almost as stressful/exciting as watching the game all over again! You guys are awesome hahah. Can't wait for the NC, and ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Also: best rammer jammer ever was at my bar. We had 2 obnoxious Jawja fans (one very drunk) sitting right next to me, and when the clock hit zero, and the music began to play, we all just FREAKED and people stood on tables and were waving the poms and screaming. I think we did it 6-7 times. One of the Jawja fans gave me this dirty ass look. The manager of the bar apparently had a bet with one of them and made the one guy get up in-front of everyone with 2 poms and red Bama stickers all over his shirt. IT WAS GLORIOUS. Just had to share :)

No doubt about it- you can't argue that AJ won't make a beautiful play when you give him the time to do it and take away the pressure. A wide open receiver, particularly one like Amari Cooper, is helpful also. Ultimately, everything we did last night was enough. No complaints. I just don't necessarily feel as confident as I might've earlier in the season - going into a game against a defense with a month (or more, depending on how you look at it...) to figure out how to stop our run game - with saying I'd be comfortable having to rely on the pass.
