Coker is just flat-out the smoother, better gamer. I know it sounds counter-intuitive since he's slower, but he's smoother and has a bigger pair
I can't for the life of me figure out why you would pull the rug out from under the more productive guy before the toughest game yet. Fucking unbelievable, and Saban knows he fucked up.

Secondly, I put this shit show squarely on Kiffin's shoulders. Kiffin was probably non-stop bitching because he doesn't like Coker, and was probably thrilled when Bateman got the start. Not to mention, it's HIS fucking job to get the offense ready for the season.

Bateman was 11-14 for 87 yds (partially due to some great catches by the WR's). The INT was due to Stewart not running the route correctly. I'm still not sure why the play calling didn't leverage his mobility.

That touchdown before halftime was HUGE!!!!!! As bad as Bama played in the first half, mainly on offense and special teams, they are VERY FORTUNATE to only be down by seven points at the half.

Fumble itis is a bad thing to have. When I played ball if you fumbled in a game, the coach made you carry the ball to class for the next week and if someone took the ball away from you there were many laps to run as punishment.
