Well I couldn't watch the Bama game at home because of my antenna. But wouldn't you know it it doing fine with the night game F$U vs OK.ST game. I just had to hit the mute button because of that war cry.
Urban Meyer surprised me yesterday. Navy is a good ball club, but when it comes to depth they aren't in the same league as Ohio State.
Knowing Meyer's propensity to run up the score and how he loves to put on a show for "beauty pageant ratings," I thought they'd take care of business yesterday but in a bland fashion. I'm inclined to believe the loss of Miller is going to hurt more than some have been forecasting.
Gordon opened the second half with a 63-yard burst to set up Wisconsin's final score. But from then on, Gordon received only two more carries the rest of the game and stood on the sideline at times with his helmet halfway on his head.
Andersen said Gordon had "a scenario" at halftime that made it doubtful whether the star tailback could return to the game. But he did not elaborate, and Gordon did come back late in the game to provide pass protection. Asked after the game if he tweaked anything or was injured, Gordon responded, "Nah, I was good, man. All good."
Off topic, but wanted to say Hi to everyone. Good to see some familiar screen names. Don't make it on here like I used to, but I like to lurk. RTR Special shout out to Rick! Good to see you!
Still shocked they got away from running Melvin Gordon III in the 2nd half, he only averaged 8.8yds per carry the entire game. He touched the ball 4 times in the 2nd half...crazy.

Tennessee handled Utah State the way Tennessee is supposed to handle Utah State. That certainly looked like a bowl team last night and looked like a team that can pull an upset this season.
I'm going to have to look over a UofSC forum at some point today to see what kind of reaction they're having. OU just might have a game on their hands if they're not careful.
HC Gary Anderson said during his post game presser that he didn't know why they stopped using Melvin. So either he was caught up still mentally processing the game and gave a bad answer or he stretched the truth. I find it hard to believe you don't know your top RB is injured...especially when he carried the ball 4 times in the 2nd half - 2 carries in the 3rd and 2 carries in the 4th. I can't help but wonder if they are doing some damage control, after giving up the lead like they did in the 2nd half and opting more to throw the ball vs run the ball.
So after the game Gary Anderson didn't know anything, but today he knows something...sounds fishy to me.
A bit off subject, but watching the SEC Network and Chizik I didn't realize he had as a good a record at Auburn as he did...34(not sure exact number)-19, 3-0 bowl record, and a NC and yet they fired him? That tells me two things, one they wanted to hire Gussy, and two the moment coaches figure out that offense they're going to fire Gussy

Yeah, you're exactly right. I remember thinking all this guy needed was a place where there was some degree of talent because he improved greatly once he was down on the plains. I don't know what happened that last year.
