If you looked at bama in late 90s-2000s Lsu. Au. Tn. Would be unfair for bama.

The playoffs are fucked up, IMO, because 1, they got greedy and wanted to expand... and 2, there's so many hands involved, deals are having to be cut that are a detriment to the overall system.

But, I'm with @50+yeartidefan on this. It just isn't a big concern for me, really not a concern at all. In some cases, I might rather (Bama) completely avoid the SECCG anyway. The system I prefer was the 4 team BCS setup, so any chaos that ensues with all these new changes and expansions is likely to elicit nothing from me other than a side eye and a healthy dose of mocking.

Yep. After a 12 game regular season. Missing sec cg. Might be best thing.

We've got different definitions of concern. It's all arm chair 'C-E-O'in' with a great deal of mockery and sarcasm on my end. The unfortunate thing for @50+yeartidefan being caught up in all of this is he's been relegated to the dining room...doesn't even get a foot stool in this discussion because he's been on the wrong side of everything.

---Both UT's get both ends of the stick. TX gets three permanents who are 'have's.' Tennessee gets one in Bama.

FWIW, Florida State has an almost zero shot at getting an SEC invite. And Clemson's chances aren't that great either. Expansion will happen again, yes... but not with that duo.
