That is what alumni are for. Surely they can scrape together some funds via the alum of the school. :headscratch:

Those same alums are the ones that haven't been renewing season tickets for the last few years. Add to that, they've already been hit up numerous times over the last few years for facility improvements, they'll have to come up with cash for buyouts, and then offer a large salary to a decent coach?

Possible, sure. But that athletic department isn't in good shape at all.

OH, don't forget they are still dealing with buyout payments to three other guys; former AD for one. Now you add another nine?

I'm sure season tickets would pick up if they had a team worth watching on the field. Domino effect, make the right hire and the tickets will sell and so on. I just can't imagine that they can't raise money for a descent football coach.
