ESPN's College GameDay chooses Alabama-Texas A&M
This will be the first Alabama game of the season for College GameDay, and the GameDay crew is lucky. The weekly preview show ended up with a matchup in Tuscaloosa between the only two undefeated teams left in the SEC.

The No. 1 Crimson Tide’s Week 8 home game against the No. 6 Aggies on Saturday, Oct. 22, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and will air on CBS. It will be the ninth meeting between the two SEC West schools, with Alabama leading the series 6-2. The Tide will look to extend its winning streak over the Aggies to four games Saturday in its final game before its bye week.

Texas A&M has posted a 6-0 (4-0 SEC) record through six weeks and recently defeated Tennessee by a score of 45-38 in a double-overtime thriller. The Aggies, like the Crimson Tide, have played in two true road games this year.

Texas A&M finished with an 8-5 (4-4 SEC) record a season ago and posted a 1-2 record away from its home field in College Station. The Aggies fell to the Crimson Tide at Kyle Field by a score of 41-23 in the third week of October.
