🏈 Fulmer back to Tennessee?

Just heard a break in report on ESPN that Tennessee has contacted Fulmer about coming back to Tennessee in some fashion and possibly as head coach. Any body else heard anything about this?

ESPN seemed pretty certain. So I guess you can take that for what it's worth. lol I would be shocked though if they got him to be the head coach again.

I find that hard to believe, yet it's still believable!!! If so, what a desperate move on UT's part!

If fulmer does go back, I'm not sure who ends up looking like the bigger loser - UT for taking him back or fulmer for accepting it.

I just watched Nashville NBC4 news at lunch and they had Mike Hamilton's press conference on there. After the press conference, Rudy Kailas of Channel 4 stated that the Univeristy Administration had contacted Fulmer to be the head coach or athletic director and that Fulmer was interested.

Fulmer returning as head coach = Comedy Gold

FWIW - Hamilton also said he is advising all of the early enrollees to go to class and represent the university in a first class manner. Seems if they really were interested in having their university represented in a first class manner that they would not be in the present predicament.

I think that's a really smart move by UT. Putting our bad feelings about the little troll aside. From a recruiting and calming the fanbase's nerves this is one smart move by UT. There is nothing that means more to Fulmer than UT....donuts being a close second.

I think he would be UT's best choice atm. I'd say having somone who gives a damn about the school would have to be thier top priority atm.
