High school senior Marvin Bracy ran 6.08 for 55 meters at the Jimmy Carnes indoor meet. That puts him solidly in contention for a shot at an Olympic birth in the 100 this summer. He's an FSU commit. Wonder how that will affect next year's season at FSU? That sort of speed makes him a player as a freshman in college. A big time player. That is just sick fast. Well, national record, so that sort of speaks for itself. To put that time in perspective, he would have almost beaten Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell had he raced him at the U.S. Open at Madison Square Garden this past weekend.
