🏈 From the Sparty's board---- Dear Jim Delany,

This Saturday the world tuned in to watch our epic battle with Alabama. We met on the field as equals, the two most storied programs in the history of football.

From the opening kickoff fireworks ensued, the world held their breath and watched what was perhaps the greatest game in history. However, for all those watching it quickly became apparent that Alabama was playing in a fashion that was less than ethical, to put it lightly. It was plain to see their players were not Michigan caliber, they were not Michigan Men.

As evidenced by the amount of injuries on the field, Alabama played dirty. The late hit on Denard was perhaps the worst of this decade. He was hit with a force that could have killed a lesser man, but Denard survived. Throughout the game, it wasn't the fact that Alabama was tackling, it was HOW they were tackling. They weren't simply trying to get us to the ground, they were punishing us for being on our feet. They hit our players with a viscous intent to hurt and maim rather than to tackle with dignity. This is Michigan! We are better than trying to hurt our opponent, we are better than trying beat another team into submission. When we win, we win because we're better.

As the world knows, Hoke did the right thing and held a few of our starters from playing tonight. Given the minor nature of their alleged crimes any coach in the country would have played them, but here at Michigan we do the right thing. This brings us to our next point, Alabama cheated. Because of the cover ups it's clear that Alabama had many players that should have been benched tonight. If they were held to Michigan standards, half their team wouldn't be playing. It's an unfair advantage having to uphold what is good and right in the world while other teams sweep it under the rug, our tradition keeps us from skirting the law and this puts us at a HUGE disadvantage.

Because of these and many more reasons, Michigan didn't have enough time to win. Due Alabama's obvious lack of institutional control we are requesting you file a formal complaint to the NCAA seeking Death Penalty sanctions for the following:

1. Hitting our players too hard and in an ungentlemanly manner.
2. Physical assault followed by verbal assault.
3. Running up the score
4. Not conforming to Michigan standards.
5. Playing players not eligible by Michigan standards.
6. Refusing to give us enough time to win.
7. Committing penalties the refs couldn't see.
8. Not giving Denard enough time to throw properly.
9. Rigging the field with turf monsters.

We are further seeking a full investigation to the crimes committed on the field of play. An attempt of murder was committed on our team and most importantly our QB. Players should not be hit the way they were hit. This is football, not a prison yard. We believe there was a premeditated intent to kill a member of our team on the field, luckily all of our players are alive--for now. There is no guarantee those thugs won't be waiting for our players in the parking lot prepared to finish the job they set upon before the game. The FBI and local police agencies should be notified and begin a full investigation as soon as possible.

Finally, we request that our alleged loss be reversed given the nature of how Alabama played. Michigan must continue our hundred year win streak, we don't lose, and don't plan to start now; especially to cheaters.

Thank you,

--Michigan fans

Whomever wrote this is too dumb to receive any sympathy they are fishing for. These people from other parts of the country have no idea what Bama has to go out and prove to even a casual football fan. Our opponents in big games we are told always have the advantage in whatever category they are speaking of and we always come into the game as the proverbial underdog. This time it was Denard Robinson and his spectacular ability to run, pass and control the game. McCarron has yet to get beyond the status of game manager with the media. If, by the the supreme graces we should go all the way and challenge once again for a BCS National Championship, the media will still not be convinced and have their doubts about our players' abilities and skills. Maybe we will get to make others cry and sob as we celebrate.

They're being facetious

I realized that when I saw that it was from a Sparty board. He probably had it written out when we whooped 'em in the bowl game, never sent it and took the opportunity to make light of it with inserting Michigan's name.
