šŸˆ From the Florida Alligator: "Tired of seeing Alabama dominate college football? You’re not alone"

I wouldn't disagree with his comments. Dropping the IB, but then winning in ATL would still have BAMA in the CFP. Brad did state that the game still meant a lot to the people that either live here in BAMA or root for either team.
I'll admit; being from Tennessee (now in Alabama) and living in the Volunteer State for the first 26 years of my life I viewed the Iron Bowl as just another SEC west game. My hatred for the Vols was comparable to y'alls hatred to the Barn, and my family which still lives in Tennessee still do dispite our current run on the Vols we have today. It wasn't till I moved here that I began hating the Barn along with y'all. I say all that because if you don't live in Alabama and never have then the Iron Bowl is probably just another conference game to you no different than Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, LSU or the Mississippi schools. Disclaimer: I will say that this is probably more true for the true Bama fans in Tennessee than any other state.

I live 40 miles north of that place on Highway 431. Yes! I know Coach Saban and Coach Bryant didn't like that team north of here. But either of these two live this close to that, team of milk and cow patties. Like @mhardiman said his family, despite Bama. But, do these guys hate the other fans members and those members are family. Has any other school fan shot their sister because of the 2013 game. It happens here in Alabama, because one Bama fan didn't think the other Bama fan didn't take the loss like she thought the other should have. The closest we can come to the Bama and braner game I guess would be the Civil War game Wash. vs Wash. St, or maybe the USC and UCLA that just because it's across the street from each other. Well maybe not across from each other but in the same town. Don't these two share the same football field, for like ever!

^^^No; it doesn't get to that level of ridiculousness that I've seen, but I promise the level of hatred the Vols have for us is very strong. My dad's mediate family and offspring are Bama Fans; his aunts, uncles (10 in all) and there offspring are all Vols fans. Things could get ugly, and it is impossible to have a casual football conversion with them or any Vols fan for that matter. You try and it starts the list of about 10 "what if's and the Vols would have beat you;" never fails. Not a chance you can watch a game with them; it doesn't matter if the Game involves Bama or not. It's entertaining but still not a good idea, because brain cells will be lost. Lets call it pumpkin puke orange colored glasses like no other that never come off. They love to rub it in when they win and get fighting mad when you don't when we win. Also Washington plays in Husky Stadium in Seattle, Washington State plays in Martin Stadium (I think) in Pullman (I think) with a pretty good amount of mileage between the two (I think). USC plays in LA Coliseum and UCLA plays in the Rose Bowl.

I don't think its any different than NE Patriots fatigue right now, NY Yankees a lot of times in history, the Miami Hurricanes in the 80-90's, Jimmie Johnson on the NASCAR side. There are lots of examples we could use.
