🏈 Fox on YoutubeTV - temporary dispute resolved as the fall season kicks off

Two years ago, Spectrum and the ESPN family of networks and of course, Disney had a showdown. You may remember...everything....ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, The SEC Network, and anything and everything else associated with ESPN, ABC, and Disney went bye bye on the eve of the first Saturday of the season. It took a few weeks to get all that sorted. I remember somebody telling me "drop Spectrum cable and go with YouTube TV and you won't ever have to worry about this". Two years later, I have since moved. Spectrum isn't available in my new location. AT&T is and AT&T no longer offers cable in the traditional sense. So, I got AT&T internet and YouTube TV. So far, so good...UNTIL...I got the news that YouTube TV and Fox are locked in a battle. And suspiciously coincidental, just like two years ago with the ESPN/ABC/Disney vs Spectrum showdown, the showdown is happening right here before the start of college football season! They have right up until 12:01 AM Saturday morning to reach a deal. How do these battles between providers and networks always fall right before the season kicks off? Crazy, right?

You don’t think the content providers do this on purpose? It gives them power to get a new agreement signed which helps the “network” keep or gain subscribers.

Both are OTA...only impact I see if it's left unsettled are with those who don't have an antenna (or know about where to find free streams...IE: Stanford.)
Well it still doesn't matter to me one way or another because I will not be watching the Barn play a game in any sport unless they are playing Bama.

If anything I want to know which coach is wearing the green dot. I have no love lost for either. It should be a good ball game.

If Hugh's team crashes and burns it'll be chapter one of a story I'm pretty sure you'll follow this season.

I would watch the barn... Gotta study them
Why? All I need to know is it is the barn therefore the enemy and well the pathetic group they are. That is all I need to know and I do not have to see them play to know that. Also I am pretty sure the Bama coaches are not coming to ask me my opinion about how to game plan against them.

Only thing I care about is did they lose and lose a lot....Hope they win just enough to keep freeze but if not and they decide to get a new coach, I will observe and hope they do not stumble into hiring an actuall good coach or at least a good one for their backwards athletic culture.
