🏈 Fowler

Could have just as easily been AJ. I sure would like to see us pull more of the starters when we are leading by that much in the 4th quarter against these kind of teams...

Yeah really... what was he even doing in there? First, we have a backup who desperately needs experience anyway, and foremost, we have a QB on whom the outcome of our season depends. Saban has a knack for wanting to get conservative after a big lead but without removing the starters.. shouldn't it be the opposite

Sad to hear. This is a big hit, not only was hey vital in the h-back/fullback roll, we lose that bruiser RB that seemed to have always gotten us key yardage.

Time for Brent Calloway and Kelly Johnson to step up....Dee Hart too, with Fowler out, he will get more reps

When he grabbed his knee and the way he had his leg bent, I thought ACL. I hope I'm wrong.

We ate at Zaxby's on our way home and there were some Western Kentucky fans eating there. Started talking with them, and one of the first things they asked was had we heard how the young man who got hurt is doing.

Not good news at all :(

PCL injury = hyperflexion.. not extension. This is worse in a way than if it had been his ACL. Much more difficult to reconstruct. I would hope Dr. Andrews would be looking at it but based on Fowler's facebook posts, he's at home in Mobile.

Hope the other guys can step it up!

Depending upon other structural involvement and severity of the tear, this isn't horrible. They can be somewhat more difficult to reconstruct but unless he has a lot of other issues he'll be back

I'm not at all down-playing it. Any ligament injury to an athlete is bad but unless there are some related issues, it shouldn't have anymore long term ramifications than an ACL would
