Miles also did a great job of not fouling there on that Vanderbilt drive. No idea how he missed it.
Also find it hilarious on that JD rebound, they called a jump ball instead of a foul. Officials have been way too incompetent this year.
The fact that we held Vanderbilt to one FG with 5:23 left shows you how bad these officials were.

Not defending the officials - because half the fouls on Pippen are preemptively called - but Rojas and Bediako do not know how to play defense without fouling. Rojas is limited skill wise and doesn't seem to have a vertical higher than three feet. Bediako just is inexperienced. They play hard.
The foul on Rojas where he didn't even touch Pippen was ridiculous.
Don't disagree at all... Rojas has always been a blind bull in a china shop. I just get tired of seeing guys like Pippen (and that little pug KD Johnson of auburn) drive the lane with the sole intent of drawing a foul, then getting nearly every call when they are either out of control or barely/not touched. Like watching fainting goats in the paint...
And this constant, "let's go review this call and see if it's a flagrant..." is worn out too. I get it on some calls, but way too often the review is senseless and time wasting... just invites more flopping IMO.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. ā After trailing by five at intermission, the No. 24/25 Alabama men's basketball team used a strong second half start and free throw shooting down the stretch to hang on for a narrow 74-72 win at Vanderbilt Tuesday night.
It was the Crimson Tide's (18-10, 8-7 SEC) third consecutive win inside Memorial Gymnasium ā a first for the UA program since achieving the feat in the mid-1980s.It was also UA's fourth win over the team's last five contests.
Junior guard Jahvon Quinerly came off the bench to score 19 points and lead four Alabama players in double figures. Freshman guard JD Davison earned his first career double-double with a 10-point, 10-rebound performance to go along with five assists and three steals. Graduate transfer Noah Gurley added 11 points and three blocks and senior Keon Ellis had 10 points and eight boards in the win.
Vanderbilt (14-13, 6-9) was led by Scotty Pippen Jr.'s 24 points, six assists and six steals.
Team Stats
- With the four-point win, 18 of the last 19 games played between Alabama and Vanderbilt have been decided by 10 or fewer points with 11 of those contests being decided by five or less
- Alabama connected on 22-of-25 free throws in the contest for an 88.0 percent clip which was a season-best mark
- Davison led the Tide matched his career high in rebounds and steals while his five dimes led the team
- The win was the UA's fifth in six meetings between the two teams
