I too was surprised that Carpenter went that high. Seahawks must really think he can come in and help immediately. Say what you want, but Carroll and Saban think alot alike. Saban thought enough of Carpenter to bring him from the JUCO ranks and he starts for 2 seasons. Now Carroll takes him in the 1st.
