I know he was very respected around coaching circles and with folks who interacted with him at UA.

He was a man's man. He always put his family first and put the University of Alabama first and a half. He is one in a million. He always had a smile on his face, he never dwelled on the bad, and he would not let you do so, either. The world was a better place with him in it.
