Still believe he was reason...not stallings ...for the Langham issue after the 92 sugar bowl.....and subsequent probation ....

I think he was the AD at Clemson before he came to UA. He is the reason they have the paw print moniker on the field and helmets.
He is also part of the reason why Bill Oliver was butt hurt and "retired" and went to Auburn. Ingram kept dangling the carrot of taking over for Bebe's after he retired, but Stallings kept on coaching and Oliver was mad.
