🏈 Former Alabama QB season ends with a torn ACL after 2 games as starter

That sucks. Very sad to hear that. Wishing for his speedy recovery.

Check out the user Tiger Army's comment on the story:

"Another example of Saban's lack of player safety.. He seems to have given Toledo damaged goods. Saban didn't want to be responsible for this on his field. We may be seeing other players of Saban go down this year with unknown existing injuries...."

what do you expect from an auburn fan? they're f*cking pathetic human beings.

There was a short article at the end of the article on Ely indicating that Philip Sims came off the bench at Winston-Salem State to lead a comeback win. Talk about a miss on expectations. He came to Bama as the top ranked pro style quarterback out of high school. Redshirted as a freshman, he was neck and neck with A. J. for our starting job in 2011. Now he is coming off the bench at Winston Salem. You wonder just what happened on the way.

He didn't buy in to Saban system. You know if both had stay maybe one of them would be the starting QB's?

Likely an LSU fan. It's a running mantra of theirs that he "uses up players" in college. There's an offensive linemen they point to as one of their prime examples but I can't recall who it was that was playing for them at the time.
