Program got three years along with a 5K fine.
Maybe the wording is wrong but it says “His punishments include”……
Does the 3 years probation and fine go to us or to anyone that hires him, plus the show cause?
I'll have to read it more closely...pretty sure it's against the program, three years probation, and a 5K fine. At a cursory glance it looks like a "warning ticket" with a fine.
I'll have 1/4 of that fine paid on my first concession stand trip in a couple weeks.
The probation thing is of no concern to me... not in this case.
Looks like Bohannon finally went dark on social media... not sure what took so long on that. A small part of me feels bad for the guy. Mostly because I've seen people throw good careers away over similar stuff, and when you boil this down, regardless of the why's... it was a very silly and stupid thing to ruin a career over. There's ways he can stay in and around baseball making a decent living, but nothing like what he would have had for the rest of his life.
It boils down to the staff having to tell players "Bama is on probation."
