With all of the recruiting talk around the '08 signing class, I seem to forget about last year's class. Which of these guys will we see make a difference on the field this year? Gibson? Maze? Goode? Others?

you could probably throw Luther Davis' name in there.

I'd say that is a good name to put out there. He's been doing very well in agility drills this past season and is coming along nicely. He's going to have some competition.

^ Nick Fannuzi, also

I don't follow that thought. He was battling a lot of injury problems last year and didn't get a lot of time to work with the offense.

The variable is how much is changed with McElwain coming in...in terms of terms more than schemes. Interestingly, it'll be a learning curve for him as well as the players.

I think Fannuzi will compete w/ Star and Greg for the starting spot after JP leaves

OK. I see where you are coming from. The battle I see on the horizon doesn't include Greg. I see him starting his senior year with one of the two getting snaps, but not as the starter.

It's an unknown right now, for sure. In a manner of speaking, they are all starting out equal but knowing JPW is going to get the nod.

One thing for sure, in a couple of years we are going to have a stable of QB's, all talented. Figure it looks like after this season we'll see Greg, Nick, Star and probably AJ.
