Not that he was a huge superstar and went Alabama, JC, back to Alabama after a crime, but DJ Pettway did a good job for us last year, especially in the Championship game.

Given the success Bama has had, I think the question in the article's title is easily answered.

But to the article's main point, it would only be fair to compare the success rates of JUCOs at Bama verses other schools. You can't evaluate anything without a comparison to something else.
