I'm a big believer that a team starts to form an identity at some point in it's championship seasons, that defines that team and becomes what they are. Last season, I believe we did that against Ole Miss, by suffocating them on defense and Mark Ingram just shredding them. We saw that before, against lesser opponents, and it continued throughout the rest of the year.

So far this season, what I've seen is blow out some bad teams (SJSU/DUKE) and grow up defensively in the second half against Arkansas. That game might define us. I wonder if anyone else thought that perhaps the Florida game defined what we are, or are we still an evolving work in progress?

Still think our best football is yet to be played, as I"m not satisfied that we've played 4 full quarters of football against anyone yet. Sure, we haven't had to against SJS, Duke, Penn State, or Florida, in order to win. We weren't there at all in the 1st half at Arkansas. Well, except for Mark Ingram.

What does it say about a team that can play roughly 2-3 solid quarters of football each week, and ROUT their opponent nearly every single week? :D

It says to me they need to start playing 60 minutes :)
